Graduation intern

At Nerium, as an graduation intern, you are given a lot of freedom but also responsibility. Working temporary from remote locations (for example, in Spain) is not a problem. We are an informal company and enjoy having necessary Friday afternoon drinks and company outings. The team is growing and consists of experienced specialists, which not only provides you with work challenges but also personal growth and development opportunities.

Your responsibilities

We are open to students who have their own ideas for formulating a graduation project. However, if you find the following assignment interesting, that is also an option.

Project: Data-driven Ransomware Threat Hunting

As a company specialising in incident response, we assist organizations in the Netherlands and abroad with recovering from cyber security incidents. One common example of such an incident is ransomware. This type of attack involves attackers infiltrating a digital environment, encrypting data and systems, and subsequently demanding ransom.

The student’s assignment includes researching the most common techniques ransomware attackers use in the digital environments of their victims. Using a proof of concept, the goal is to identify "quick wins" to detect attack activity in large-scale datasets with research data.

Our offer

Flexibility to take unlimited vacation days and work remotely from anywhere in the world.

Support in your personal development through trainings and a wide range of tasks.

An informal company culture with ample freedom, complemented by exciting team outings.
